The new range of nougat Artisan Collection includes a careful selection of recipes, artisans and ancestors, which have been in the family of Pablo Garrigós Ibáñez for decades. With the aim of evoking a “new sense of taste”, master formulas and natural ingredients of the Mediterranean basin have been recovered to redefine the more traditional flavors, adding special nuances and textures, and to create original and unexpected proposals, unique in the market .
In this way,their Artisan Collection reinvents the classic nougat of Jijona, Alicante, Guirlache or Chocolate with Marcona almonds and transforms elements such as macadamia nuts, chocolate fondant, raspberries, orange, caramel or speculoo cookies into true gourmet delicacies.
Turrón is a very old, traditional sweet of Spain. It has been a popular sweet for centuries, even outside Spain’s borders. Turrón was invented over 500 years ago in Jijona, a small town about 30 miles or so north of Alicante.
The turron of jijona is made with Marcona almonds, orange blossom, honey, sugar, and egg yolk.
